Fear of the Dark
The fear of the dark was very important to human survival back in the Stone Age, when we didn't have houses built of bricks and high fences. Humans were very vulnerable from predators in the dark, especially those with excellent night vision.
However in this day and age, fear of the dark is generally an irrational fear. There is no reason for us to be scared to walk into the bedroom without the lights on. We know that the monsters described in our childhood fairy books are entirely fictional and that ghost just don’t exist. Yet the fear of the dark is a surprisingly common phobia in adults that should have long outgrown it.
Hypnotherapy will help you to put your childhood fears behind you and focus on happier and more positive thoughts and
memories. Instead of avoiding the dark, you will welcome them as a time to rest and reflect on happy memories and feelings of comfort and peace.
